Amish handcrafted Pressback chairs have a nostalgic feel. Back in the 1800s and early 1900s these dining chairs and kitchen chairs were very popular.
The design looks carved but is actually stamped into the chairs using a large roller that presses the design into the chair back wood. The pressed design was much more affordable then a dining chair with a carved design.
Delicate details and rounded, undulating slats and legs make this a popular choice for the country chair enthusiast.
